The Politics of Exclusion and Racist Ideology
By Kwame Nkosi Romeo
On January 18, 2023, the Antigua and Barbuda election was revealing, as the downward trajectory of the Antigua Labor Party (ALP) government brought it to the brink of defeat. Ultimately, on April 30, 2026, the awakening that many social justice warriors await will be frightening to prime minister Gaston Browne.
With over $6 billion in failed promises and that significant amount disappearing from GDP, our debt-to-GDP ratio may be 190% and teetering toward bankruptcy as a failed state.
Far too many promises, a lack of transparency and accountability over the past 12 years, and the overburdening of the working class with the tax burden of the wealthy are glaring injustices.
The struggling masses are being crushed at the base of the economic pyramid, yet more and more taxes are demanded!
But voter fraud and the inaction of the Antigua Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) gave the perpetrators the flashlight to navigate the pervading darkness and deliver an unwanted outcome!
The UPP produced extraordinary election results but failed to win the government, only to later learn that Prime Minister Gaston Browne had confessed to electoral fraud.
So, what action did the OAS Electoral Observation Mission contemplate against ALP electoral swindling since there was the immediate resolution: "Condemning the fraudulent Elections in Venezuela."
Antigua and Barbuda's corrupt Ambassador to the US and the OAS, Ronald Michael Sanders, who is now featured in a US Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation, is a WANTED MAN; only that posters have not yet been circulated to Bounty Hunters to bring the economic plunderer to justice!
However, Sanders will be unable to escape DOJ scrutiny into criminal wrongdoing, unlike the case with the United Progressive Party (UPP) government's investigation into the Ishikawajima-Harima-Heavy Industries Company Limited (IHI) money heist from the Public Treasury. There is no statute of limitations for stealing millions of dollars and secretly routing them into his offshore accounts.
Sanders, who usually knows a lot about electoral fraud but still knows nothing, is speechless after prime minister Gaston Browne confesses to electoral fraud in the 2023 national election.
Browne boastfully declared that the ALP election was a swindle and that people were put to vote in a weaker constituency, such as the St. Johns City East Constituency, where incumbent MP Melford Nicholas assured his victory by six votes.
Still, there was no immediate condemnation of that fraudulent outcome. But there was an immediate OAS resolution: "Condemning the fraudulent Elections in Venezuela,"
Along with Guyana's incumbent government and President David Granger' A Partnership for National Unity and the Alliance For Change (APNU/AFC) election on March 2, 2020, and the stalemate that followed due to challenges, and given the huge stake involved with the Opposition People's Progressive Party/Civic ( PPP-C) winning the 2020 election, voting along ethnic lines is traditional and that Sanders party of choice by ethnicity!
So what action did the OAS Electoral Commission contemplate against Browne, or against the complicity of the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission, and what did Sanders do?
Nothing!
Sanders had a lot to say about Granger's APNU/AFC leading up to Guyana's March 2, 2020, General Election and Venezuela's election outcome, citing US military exercises but dismissing the possibility of the US invading Venezuela.
Nonetheless, Sanders is so entrenched in the politics of his homeland that he celebrated a subliminal message from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo intended for the APNU/AFC.
"What is more realistic for Guyana are economic and financial actions on all persons identified as participants in declaring election results that are not verified as credible....'"
Sanders not only defended the public threats issued by Mike Pompeo, the US Secretary of State, who determined preference endorsing Irfaan Ali's People's Progressive Party (PPP) while demanding President David Granger "step aside" and endorsing ExxonMobil's exploitative offer to the government of 2% royalties on earnings of all oil sales:
"Individuals who seek to benefit from electoral fraud and form illegitimate governments/ regimes will be subject to a variety of serious consequences from the United States."

-US sends strong warning to persons involved in electoral fraud in Guyana: Guyana Times- March 20, 2020
Today, those same sequences of Sanders' words haunt his soul and grip his everyday thoughts because he was the chief practitioner of electoral fraud in Antigua and Barbuda!
Did Sanders not engineer electoral fraud by instituting for your eyes into the politics of Antigua and Barbuda's voting mechanism?
Was he not part of the election heist in 1999 and 2023, as he was diligently plundering the Public Treasury and looking the other way because of his interest in nearly every economic shenanigan?
In addition to corruption involving PILLAR ROCK, WIOC-CORBKINNKONS-CARIBBEAN UNION BANK-SWANB-ALFA NERO!
But this was expected from neocolonialist Sanders, a bought and sold ALP politician in government (PIGS) who supported postcolonial Britain's rights over the Falklands/Malvinas Islands instead of Argentina!
Undoubtedly, Sanders would defend France's sovereignty over the Mayotte island, which belongs to the Comoros, Guyana's deportation of Haitians, and encourage the ALP government to customize laws to disempower the Barbuda people of their communal land rights, which can result in violent consequences, such as losing land, which can mean losing lives.
The primary issue intimated by Sanders is about 'my country' Guyana, while using his position as Antigua and Barbuda Ambassador to the US, whose place of abode is Barbados, not the twin island nation paying his taxes, regularly critiques Venezuela/Guyana's territorial dispute of 61,600 sq miles of Guayana Esequiba being ceded to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, a clear ulterior motive. tTerritorialmention of Barbuda's land rights. Damn, hypocrites, political opportunists, and worthless economic paraworthless border disputes date back to the United Kingdom Arbitral Award on October 3, 1899.
This award is an issue of controversy and will be determined by the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
-UN court says it can hear Guyana-Venezuela border dispute by Mike Corder April 6, 2023.
Doesn't Venezuela have a legitimate right?
Also, Sanders, along with former prime minister Lester Bird, was busy criticizing Venezuela's right to the Aves Island, parroting that the island belonged to Dominica, even asserting that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was a despot, critical of the Petrocstibe deal signed by the UPP and subsequent shipment of oil consignment and loans to CARICOM countries.
Subsequently, Dominica's prime minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, stated in June 2006 that Alves Island belongs to Venezuela. (Wikipedia Isla De Aves)
Sanders was harshly critical of Venezuela's PetroCaribe oil arrangement with CARICOM, but knows Guyana will never give such general oil consignments to CARICOM; rather, they will go to India.
Sanders explicit plan was two-fold to depopulate Guyana of Afro-Guyanese under the guise of the secret white paper giving them the right to vote in Antigua and Barbuda elections.
So why can't the people of Haiti populate Guyana, as a high percentage of Venezuelan refugees are presently doing:
Is a racial hierarchy being built for eventual votes?
Today, Sanders proudly claims Mission Accomplished, since the ethnicities of Guyana's 797,284 people comprise: East Indian descendants (39.8%), African descendants (29.3%), mixed race (19.9%), Indigenoys Amerindians (10.5%), and other races (0.5%).
(Challenges facing the new government of Guyana by Ronald Sanders, 6 August 2020)
Sanders comments more on Guyana's politics than the twin-island nation he represents, and it's time he STFU!
Are Antigua and Barbuda taxpayers paying Sanders to represent his country, Guyana, as well?
Yes, since he leverages his ambassadorial role to crush local talent while promoting himself as the savior, but he is known as the Ambassador of skulduggery that must be brought to justice!
Is Ron Sanders a racist?
Indeed! The evidence is clear: when he brazenly told prime minister Browne to maintain the face by selecting Charles 'Max' Fernandez as Minister of Tourism, it was a clear vindication of his race preference.
In another scenario, the racism of Sanders was obvious towards Afro-Guyanese. There were several articles about the killing of two Indo-Guyanese following the slaughter of two Afro-Guyanese.
However, not a mention was made of the Afro-Guyanese victim until the death, which sparked the flames of communal violence and threatened to engulf the country, and called the protestors hooligans for demonstrating for justice!
Did Sanders not forecast that before, but was able to say what sparked the flames of communal violence, definitely, and argues unconvincingly that the murders "have been misused to promote violence and civil disturbance"
These incidents happened two months after the brutal slaughter of Antigua customer officer Nigel Christian on Friday, July 10, 2020.
Yet not one word was echoed by Sanders, much less written! Still, he was quick to write more than three hogwash articles about murders, and more numerous on the politics and the PPP he supports, after President Irfaan Ali requested the British Government and the Caribbean Regional Security System. Sanders then added that Ali "should include a forensic investigator in his request."
(Internal strife is making Guyana a continuing regional problem, Monday, September 14, 2020.)
A petition letter condemning Sanders's action and politics of corruption must be sent to the Head of State, relaying our differences and highlighting our concern about the corruptible and titled Ambassador Ronald Michael Sanders, and agitated in the same manner as Fred Goodwin for the: REMOVAL OF KNIGHTHOOD FROM RONALD MICHAEL SANDERS!
Let's take action and get rid of that PIG 'washings'
