I will begin posting my numerous articles, which were  saved in my Gmail, such as the following article, written in April 2024  on my Truth to Power blog, and others dealing with Antigua and Barbuda's upcoming snap election on March 30, 2026, will be sent to all my contacts:

The Merchant Class Perpetuates the Underdevelopment of Haiti and the Oppression of the Working Class; Time to Stand Up against this Injustice

by Kwame Nkosi Romeo:

"They turn the system into selfish governance and the economy into a gallery of unachievable hopes."

-Bobb Rousseau

On Monday, March 11, 2024, Ariel Henry, Haiti's unelected, US-backed puppet politician who presided over Haiti for 32 months and five days, resigned—after the assassination of President Jovenel Moise on July 7, 2021.

Political subordinates such as Henry are indisput,ably similar to US President Franklyn Roosevelt's characterization of Nicaragua's dictator Anastasio Somoza;

"Somoza may be a son of a bitch, but he's our son of a bitch."

This SOB was overthrown by the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) in July 1979, then got blown away by revolutionary justice on September 17, 1980, with a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher and the 25 bullets from an M-16 that ended the 43-year criminal family dynasty.

Ultimately, the US-backed paramilitary group, the Contras, began the destabilization. Their destabilization between 1979 and 1990 was funded by US President Ronald Reagan aggressively by destroying the country's infrastructure, including the harbors of Nicaragua.

In character with autocrats, Henry treacherously conspired with the forces of Haiti's instability. Henry's failure to call an election precipitated today's uprising and exposed the improbity of democracy, and this visible hand of the capitalist is indeed slavery.

Before Henry's resignation, a senior US State Department official said Henry first decided to step down on Friday, March 8," but waited until Monday to communicate that with Ministers."

Beyond doubt, the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, is directing the selection of the seven-member Presidential Transitional Council (PTC) with CARICOM acknowledgment. All sat in silence.

More regrettably, it is not a people-driven initiative but foreign interference once again and continuing Apartheid to subjugate the people of Haiti and predetermine their fate.

That's what the resistance was against, and Jimmy 'Barbeque" Cherizier, leader of the resistance, defiantly said that any abuse of the people would be a battle to the death: "Fight against them until our last breath."

Was Cherizier right?

In a widely circulated YouTube video, Cherizier stated the first step in the fight was to overthrow Ariel Henry. Then we start the real battle against the corrupt oligarchs and politicians!

That's frightening to the ears of the current-day slave drivers benefiting from cheap labor, as France did before the Haitian revolution. The revolution overthrew systemic abuse and lasted from August 21, 1791, until  January 1, 1804, when Haiti became a Republic. A second revolution is inevitably connected to the status quo!

From 2004 to 2017, there was the setup of the  United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), which led to a legacy of killings,  abuse, and exploitation under the pretense of combating gangs.

During that time, a massacre occurred in the community of Cité Soleil on December 22, 2006. According to the Haiti Information Project (HIP): -

-the UN Forces attacked the community and killed close to 30 people, including women, in an assassination.

Also, following the coup against Jean Bertrand Aristide in 2004:

-In  the community of Cité Soleil in July 2005, countless bodies were discovered amidst the violence, leaving traces of more than 22,000 bullet holes

-A report by Project Censored estimates the arrest of more than 1,000 Aristide supporters and 8,000 assassinated.

Indeed, Haitian oligarchs dominate the economy, chaos of the streets and livelihood of the people and politicians are complicit in their economic dominance, wealth accumulation, and oppression of the working class.

That needs to change immediately for the population of 12 million Haitians who are impoverished by the system. The people of Haiti are subjected to Apartheid under the wickedness of a democratic system that the Western powers endorsed. (How Wealthy Are the Nation's Oligarchs and Who Are They?

It is time for the US to understand that the region does not want instability but economic opportunities and funding for businesses lacking in the Global South.

The taxpayers money spent on wars and the injustice of embargoes and sanctions affect people's lives in a struggling, depressing economy, creating disaffection and pauperization.

It is time for Caribbean leaders to show genuine solidarity with the Haitian people by condemning the  Apartheid.

The leaders of CARICOM are subordinates, are powerless, and are consumed in the geopolitics of war, presiding over subduing our people's resistance to keep them subservient to foreign interests.

CARICOM gave the green light for the US to invade Grenada on October 25, 1983. For a Few Dollars More now intends to support invasive forces to prop up the criminal elites dominating Haiti's economy in 2024.

The US and its allies established this presupposed PTC even as the powerless leader, Ariel Henry, read the approved resignation message: "My government will leave immediately after the council's installation."

Remember, an earlier High Transitional Council (HTC) was set up by those pulling the string and reiterated by Henry on Monday, February 5, 2023, to be "the beginning of the end of dysfunction in our democratic system."(Haiti PM installs transition council to prepare for long-awaited elections by Reuters February 6, 2023)

That was not the case; a failed promise and more killings later resuscitated HTC as the PTC.

Who gave Henry the power to echo those words?

This seven-member state council includes seven voting members and two observers. Without a doubt, the organizers of the PTC denied voting rights to both the representative of Civil Society and the Religious sector; these only have Observer status.

CARICOM has approved this wishy-washy arrangement that is being presented as a solution to the Haitian people's uprising against systemic official and corporate exploitation and abuse. It is believed that the selection of this government is undesirable and doomed to fail.

CARICOM did not voice any concerns during the killing of civilians, the persecution of the working class by Haiti's corporate elite, or the Dominican Republic's aggression and deportation of more than 170,000 Haitians in 2021, along with those from CARICOM member countries.

Where was the voice of CARICOM when the people of Haiti were under siege, harassed, and thrown out of every CARICOM country?

This aggression has led to the most dreadful human rights violations. Yet CARICOM membership is now open to the Dominican Republic, while Haiti is considered a pariah state!

The people of Haiti were steadfast in their resolve and collectivity: No to CARICOM or any other mobilized, invasive forces, or to political involvement; the solution to the Haitian problem is not to fulfill the destabilizing agenda of influential countries and create never-ending chaos, benefiting only the handful of oligarchic elites and foreign interests that govern the economy.

The people of Haiti know of the ongoing occurrences and involvement of billionaire Gilbert Bigio in the destabilization of Haiti and the funding of the paramilitary allies of the

Parti Haïtien Tèt Kale (PHTK) constitutes false truth and pretenses that isolated consensus and damaged democracy: They turn the system into selfish governance and the economy into a gallery of unachievable hopes. (PHTK: Rulers of a smoke-and-mirrors democracy by Bobb Rousseau, January 11, 2021)

The genuine revolutionaries took their protest to the streets, opposing the stratagem of those who demanded violence!

The true advocates are campaigning for better governance while making known their resentment against the US, Canada, France, Bigio, and Ariel Henry as complicit in the chaos and killing engulfing.

About two years ago, in Haiti. One thousand four hundred forty-eight people were killed, with another 1,005 kidnapped for ransom. Until now, however, the international community has stayed mostly silent about Haiti. (The Billionaire Oligarch Who is Enabling Haiti's Murderous Gangs, James North, December 16, 2022)

Additionally, between April and June 2023, 1,860 people were reported killed, injured, or kidnapped in Haiti from April to June, a 14% increase compared with the first three months of the year.

Where was CARICOM's voice condemning the imperialist, mass deportation of Haitians from the Dominican Republic, the arbitrary detention, lack of due process, Bigio, the Syro-Lebanese oligarch elites, and Henry as the real gangsters of Haiti?

Haiti, a CARICOM Member since July 2, 2002, was never included as a faithful member wit,h v,isa-free access to CARICOM countries, so there is nothing to gain for the people to consent to the US-CARICO,M ,PTC sh,am!

The 15-member CARICOM action is contrary to the Treaty of Chaguaramas

The many who espouse democratic probity and condemn those who do not conform to their shamocracy cannot seek to sustain that fight against those of the younger generation who are consistently rising to vanquish that unfair system of political greed, wealth accumulation by the few and poverty for the working class.

These leaders must be put on trial and justice extracted, and who better to maintain that fight against the unjust than young, courageous revolutionaries seeking to radically transform their circumstances!

"The problem of racial injustice and economic injustice cannot be solved without a radical redistribution of political and economic power."

-Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
